Chimney Service Team in Los Angeles started the way most trade businesses worth using start — one family, one truck and a lot of rooftops. More than ten years later we are still family owned, still based here, and still doing the same four things: sweeping, cleaning, repairing and inspecting chimneys across Los Angeles and Los Angeles County.
What has not changed is who turns up. Every technician on a Chimney Service Team job works for us. We do not sell your details on to whoever is free, and we do not hand the work to a subcontractor you have never heard of. The person on your roof is the person we trained.

How We Work
You see it before we touch it
Nobody should have to take a tradesman’s word for what is happening ten feet up a flue. Before any work starts we show you the inside of your own chimney and explain what we are looking at, in plain language, without the scare tactics.
The price comes before the work
You get the number at the appointment, based on what your chimney actually needs — not a range on the phone that doubles once we are on the roof. The estimate is free and you are never obliged to go ahead.
We tell you when to do nothing
Plenty of the chimneys we look at are fine. Saying so costs us a job today and earns the call next year, and we would rather have the call next year. If something can safely wait, we say it can wait.
Your house stays your house
Drop cloths, vacuums and coverings on everything near the fireplace. When we pack up, the only thing that should be different in the room is that the fireplace works properly again.

Far more Los Angeles chimneys are ruined by rain through a cracked crown than by anything that happens inside the flue. We look at the top of the chimney first for a reason.
